Exclusive Services

“Only a blank page needs no editing.”                                                             - Marty Rubin.

Hi,

I am Bobby George, an author, a professional editor, and, above all, an avid reader. A Multi-lingual with an inherent penchant for writing, I have been in creative writing for almost thirty-plus (30+) years now. (Longtime . . . eh!)

My love for the language has drawn me into the world of freelancing. Since I have the soul of a writer, I understand the individual needs of an author. Therefore, I strive to present impeccable, professionally evolved manuscripts as an Editor and page-turners as a Ghostwriter, well beyond my client’s expectations. I feel rewarded when they are happy with what they get. I guide aspiring authors to successful literary careers.

On Editing Projects, I practice the orthodox style of Editing, i.e., with pen and paper. I believe it gives a human touch to any writing. Cold error-checking tools may straighten the text (Proofing, Typos, Punctuations, etc., to an extent) but compromise personal feelings and the authors’ emotions. (All writings involve innumerable human emotions and feelings and countless man hours.)

As human editors and plot developers, we can enhance the storyline and suggest structural improvements while maintaining the author’s concept. Moreover, we can always keep the author’s voice intact.

With every project delivered, I see many a-dreams through. The shorter turnaround time and timely delivery of each project add to my Happy Clients list. And that is another step forward for me.

Tasks Undertaken:

1.  Editing:

  • Developmental Editing

  • Line Editing

  • Copyediting

  • Proofreading

  • Mechanical Editing

2.  Ghostwriting (Fiction, Memoire, Autobiographies)

3.  Manuscript Evaluation.

Note: I edit on a Word file with the track changes function. Suggestions are added in the Comment Box. It is solely up to the author to accept or reject suggestions. After a manuscript is submitted, a week (depending on the number of words) is required to propose to the author the service necessary for it. It is up to the author to decide the service he deems sufficient for his work.
