Bobby George is an author and a professional editor. He lives in NainiTal, a small hill station in Northern India. ‘ONE within…’, the debut novel by the author (romantic suspense), garnered rave reviews for its descriptive yet crisp narration and the visual portrayal of heart-wrenching emotions. As an author, he likes to explore the infinite realm of fictional writing, not confining himself to any genre in particular. His collection of Short Stories ‘When the DEAD aren’t DEAD’ established him as an author.

He is an avid reader with an inherent penchant for writing. His almost three-decades-long association with boarding schools in the hills has given his writing a finesse. Multi-lingual by sheer love for languages, he can speak five regional languages. 

He now devotes more time to pursuing his passion and satiating his creative appetite. He loves travelling, exploring unknown places, trekking, and long drives in the hills; these are aptly reflected in his work.

As a bibliophile, he believes ‘Reading is the first step towards writing.’ 

“I do not write for a living or as a pass time. Neither do I write to be popular. I write for the sheer love of expression.

I marvel at the linguistic ability of humans to express what they see, touch, experience, and perceive. 

It fascinates me when they assimilate it and pen it down in words to convey it to another human in a million different ways. There is an infinite possibility of this ability to be unique, with the same sights, thoughts, feelings, and the same experience. 

It is overwhelming when people can relate to my thoughts in words. And how we become one at that moment. It is a craft I keep honing and will all my life.”
